[1] What do I have to do if I want to take part in the soccer tournament?

If you want to participate as a team, you need to buy one team ticket. This ticket can be purchased via Eventix.

We need the following information for your participation. You will receive a mail from us, in which we collect the following information:

• the team name of the your team
• the name of a responsible person of your team
• the e-mail address of the responsible person of your team
• the cell phone number of the responsible person of your team
   

Each team consists of 8 players. There can be all-female, all-male and mixed-gender teams.

Registration deadline prolonged until 06.06.2024. Few spots are still available.

Please come to the tournament together so that we can check your ticket properly. Entry for teams is the service point of the JOYNEXT Arena.

[2] We are less than 8 people. Can we still take part in the tournament?

Only teams with 8 players can take part in the tournament. If you are looking for more team members for your team, you can find them in the following WhatsApp group:

[3] Can you win something?

Yes, the first three places in the tournament can win the following prizes:

1st place: Voucher for drinks worth 100€

2nd place: Voucher for drinks worth 50€

3rd place: Voucher for drinks worth 25€

The winner of the tournament will also receive a trophy. 

[4] When does the soccer tournament start?

The tournament starts at 1pm with the opening match. The teams can use the cabins in the JOYNEXT Arena from 12pm. Access to the cabins is via the JOYNEXT Arena service point. Bags can be stored in the cabins during the tournament. We take no liability for items stored there. We recommend that you take valuables with you onto the event site.

[5] Is there a possibility to take a shower after the tournament?

Yes, there are showers for the players in the cabins of the JOYNEXT Arena. Access to the cabins is via the JOYNEXT Arena service point. Bags can be stored in the cabins during the tournament. We take no liability for items stored there. We recommend that you take valuables with you onto the event site. 

[6] Which rules apply to the tournament?

The rules of the DFB apply, from which we deviate in the following points.

• The number of players in a team is 8.
• The game is played 6 against 6 (1 goalkeeper and 5 field players).
• The pitch is a small ground (50m x 30m).
• The game is played on youth goals measuring 5m x 2m.
• There is no offside.
• There is no limit to the number of substitutions. Substitutions take place behind your own goal.
• The game time is 1x 10 min.
• The distance of the opponent at corners and free kicks must be at least 3m.
• Penalty kicks are taken from the nine-meter point.
• Gross foul play involving injury to the opponent, insulting the referee or another player and other unfair behaviors of any kind will result in exclusion from the tournament.
• If a team arrives less than two minutes late, the game must be started as soon as possible.
  The lost time will not be replayed. If a team is more than two minutes late, the game will be counted as lost against the late team. So be on the pitch on time.
• If a team forfeits a game or does not show up, the game will be counted as lost against the team with 0 points and 0:2 goals.
• The break between games is 5 minutes.
• Fair play is our top priority. Please be fair to the referee, opponents, fans and also to your own teammates.

[7] What are the rules for the group stage?

The place in the table is decided in the following order:

1. points
2. goal difference
3. number of goals scored
4. direct comparison 
5. coin toss
    

[8] Which rules apply in the knockout phase?

If a match ends in a draw in the knockout phase, a nine-meter shoot-out is held immediately. Each team provides three shooters. This selection shoots until a winner is determined.

[9] Are there rules for the equipment?

There are no restrictions on the equipment to be used. Shin guards are not mandatory, but they are certainly beneficial for your health - we can only recommend them.

[10] Do we need our own jersey as a team?

You do not need your own jersey. We provide training-bibs for the teams taking part in the tournament.

However, the respective teams can of course use their own jerseys for the tournament. It is also permitted to appear as a team in a uniform color. In this case, it is not necessary to use the training-bibs.
